Aging society

I have been thinking about the advantage of aging since the day I could not go up to the attic. (See? I'm always thinking.)
First of all, when you get older, you don't have to sleep long. You can do more things in a day technically, only if you want to. You can do with less food, which allows you to save or spend more money, if your income stays same. You get to walk more slowly so that you can look around and find out new things along the way, if your eyesight remains well.
As smart readers may have noticed already, all are conditional. In a nut shell, if you are lucky, there are good things too. Oh, it's not particular to getting old.
The photo was taken in Lugano, Italy. He is a ferry crew. His wistful look seems to say something about today's topic(無理矢理か). I like this photo.
PS. Masa-shiro started his blog also in English. Please visit his and leave your message there, too. He seems like struggling at his study in California. I'm sure it will inspire you a lot.
