Omission

Afghanistan supplies virtually all of the world's illegal opium. For Afghans themselves, however, feelings about poppy are conflicted: It's harmful to their country and to their people, but it is also a livelihood for many where instability offers few alternatives.
Born in a poorest country with barren land, what would you do to live? Would you choose to die of hunger? You wouldn't, but people in the world wish you to, rather than to grow this beautiful, but harmful flower.
We may be all committing a crime of omission. In the flower language（花言葉）poppy represents "oblivion".
