Can’t make head or tail

日本語と全く同じように英語が使えたらと誰もが一度は思ったことがあるのではないでしょうか。英語は使わなければうまくなりません。この日記は実は皆さんと英語でお話をする広場であり、自分自身が皆さんと英語で会話しながらともにNative English Speakerになってしまおうというものです。基本的に英語ですが、必要なら日本語もＯＫです。英語に対しての熱意をお持ちなら、初学者からハイレベルの方まで全員ウェルカムです。
Well, let me introduce myself. I’m a freelance technology consultant. I sometimes use English on business. But opportunity to ”speak” English is far from enough.
I opened this blog just because I myself would like to talk anything out in English. I have long thought that Japanese English education is too much in favor of grammar and reading. This is, in other words, input English. I know how important the input is but the problem is we can’t keep up our effort of inputting if we have nowhere to output. So I want this blog to be your place to output what you have learned through your long and painful studying.
Now this is the start of my diary cum would-be chat room. I'm afraid it would take unpredictable long time for someone to find this blog and give it a comment. But in the meantime I just continue this lonely work of writing to myself.
The picture is a dog I saw at an office in Zurich, Switzerland. He was so cute. He has a German name which I forget. He sat all day beside his owner during his desk work waiting patiently to go home around 5 p.m.
I post this picture on just because I wanted to learn how to use the functionalities of this blog. I still can't make head or tail of it. It would look ugly without the picture, right? Anyway, the owner of the dog (recently they call "owner" a "guardian") apparently loves the dog but isn't it a kind of animal abuse (動物虐待）?
