Kyoto Driver

Two days ago I went to Kyoto. Don't take me wrong. That's on business. It may be the best season for sightseeing though. At Kyoto station, I took a taxi.
"Take me to Kyoto University, Uji campus, please."
"you can't be serious. I am visiting a professor of that campus."
"No, UJI campus he told me. It is near 黄檗 station he said."
Stuck, I called the professor. He wanted to speak to the driver. I passed him my cellphone. I only heard the driver say "おかしいでんな". He still did not seem to believe.
On our way he was very talkative ignoring me preparing for the presentation. He sounded as if it was my fault.
We passed an elementary school and next to the school we found Kyoto University all too easily.
After I paid, he said "京都にきなはったら、どうぞまた八坂タクシーをつこおてやってください"
Useful information. I learned the name of the taxi I'll never ever use again.
The picture is 黄檗山万福寺(Manpuku temple; Zen Buddhism) taken with my cellphone camera.
