Crunch Mode

Well, my buttocks finally caught fire. I have only one week left to finish my report.
I slept 4 hours last night. That's not what I intended. But somehow I wake up at 5 or 6 everyday, though I go to bed 2 am. It is, I suspect, because my head is always working during my sleeping time. I usually set my computers, three of them, to run various cases of simulation during night so that I can see the result first thing in the morning. I think I totally leave it to those computers that are far more faithful to me than Coo-chan, my dog. But a sub-system(subconsciousness maybe) in my brain seems to keep wide awake and working, while my main-system is fast asleep. It seems to keep predicting the simulation results and nag the main system to wake up approximately the time the computer completes its job, urging to check if its prediction is right or wrong. Most of the cases my idiot subsystem predicts wrong. So my mainsystem has to reconsider the physical model again during the day while writing in the report why my subsystem is so stupid. Things will go on like this till the end of this week.
I love my subsystem for all its fallacy, because it is one of the things that let me know of the world beyond my small self that is my main conscious system.
This morning I saw uguisu (picture; hope this is it) in my garden. It may have waken me up.
