Japanese blog

I'm busy these days writing a blog in Japanese. It is a kind of house-building log. When I was planning and designing our house, I was really grateful to diaries and web logs for a lot of useful information. So this is my turn to pay it back. I am happy to share my experience and knowledge I got through the meetings with house-builders, reading books, simulation on our energy-economy of the house or anything.
In due course of writing the new weblog, I find how easy and comfortable it is to write things in Japanese. It is a kind of feeling you have when you come back home after a long trip in foreign, exotic places. You know, while you are there you can get by and manage things without feeling so much trouble, but it is not until you come back home that you realize what that trip meant to you. You are insidiously fatigued. You may not have been aware of it but deep inside you are tired after all.
Maybe I'm exaggerating things a bit. But also it is not far from the truth. I like Japanese as language. Also I like Japanese since it is my flesh and blood. A language is not simply a language. You can't separate it from your upbringing. I loved someone in Japanese. All the happy moments, all the saddest moments I went through in Japanese. So English cannot beat it. Yet, knowing all that, leaning English is fun. They have as much in common as they have difference. I just silently smile when I find them.
