Flowering Dogwood

The base of our new house completed at last. All the surfaces are now thickly covered with blue boards of heat insulator that should protect us from the purgatorial heat in summer and titanic coldness in winter. The base is separated by the 50cm high concrete walls and made into compartments, each of which the corresponding room is going to stand on. It will take another month to complete the framework of the house. It took already more than 3 months since we moved to our current temporary house. I'm not sure if this progress is normal. Hope it is.
Yesterday's rain made big pools in the base compartments covered with water-tight plastic sheets. My wife and I scooped the water out of them, which has brought some comfortable sore muscle in forearms, thighs and buttocks today.

The dogwood blooms under the sun today as if nothing was happening nearby.
