Another greed

Greed is greed however successfully we conceal. Why conceal then? Deep down inside we know greed is not beautiful. Or is it a consequence of our education? Were we not taught greed is bad? Christianity? Buddhism?
Somehow we stopped thinking on our own. Where can we draw a line between greed and desire? Or is there a line to begin with? Haven't we just blindly gulped whatever Christ, Buddha, president, teacher, authority, parents said and been repeating it like a parrot ever since? Have we ever think it purely by ourselves? What is love? What is life? What is virtue? We have been saying these words thousand times meaninglessly as if we knew the meaning.
Isn't greed the very engine of the capitalism which we all have admired as a synonym for freedom? Replacing the word with desire changes nothing in its essence. After all we all enjoy greedy society.
I'm greedy. You are greedy. My case is worse. I'm guilty since I pretend not to be. This is just another greed trying not to look greedy.
